2 cups  dates 
2 cups  strong black tea 
2-3 cups  SR flour 
 
1Prep: Chop dates and soak in tea overnight.
2Fold in enough flour to form a very thick batter and pour into a greased (or lined) loaf tin.
3Bake in a moderate oven for 40-45 minutes until a skewer comes out clean.
 
Servings: 8
Yield: 1 loaf
