On the menu in the 1st Class dining room on the Titanic on the night of it's sinking.

12 large  oysters 
2 Tbs  vodka 
1/2 tsp  lemon juice 
1 Tbs  chives, finely chopped 
1/4 tsp  horseradish 
1 dashes  Tabasco sauce 
1 pinches  sugar 
1 pinches  salt 
1 medium  plum tomatoes 
 freshly ground black pepper 
 
1Prep: Seed and finely chop tomatoes.
2In bowl, stir together vodka, lemon juice, horseradish, Tabasco, sugar and salt. Gently stir in tomato and chives.
3Place open oysters on bed of shaved or crushed ice. Spoon vodka relish over each oyster; dust with cracked pepper. Serve immediately.
 
Servings: 4
Yield: 12 oysters
